Orinda Goddard is an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe and a descendant of Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservations, Quinault Nation, Yakama Nation, Tsimshian Nation Wolf Clan, Cowlitz Tribe, Coeur D’Alene Tribe, Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Nez Perce, and Navajo Nation Edge Water Clan.

She has devoted over 17 years to working in Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation and is currently working as an instructor at the Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Institution of the Northwest Indian College.

She also teaches at the Nisqually Tribe Campus for the Northwest Indian College, along with working her full time job for workforce development program in Washington State.

The Unlocking Your Abilities: Keys to Career Success Workbook was originally created with materials designed for the purpose of Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation, to remove barriers and create self sufficiency.

The author was encouraged to offer these resources to others outside of local classrooms in Washington State. We are sharing it with the greater population - Native or not! - to provide tools that anyone can use in their career search efforts.

The information is intended for all ages, from high school students to elders who want to develop a portfolio to see themselves more clearly. This workbook can help to start a career or to tailor a career to your unique abilities.
