I started Hawkeye Publishing in 2023 after 20 years of working in IT departments in large enterprises, local municipalities, spent a few years as a federal contractor, and the last five years I've consulted with startups.

I have done a LOT of work with people in their jobs related to tech in a vast array of career disciplines and at all levels of expertise.

I love the work I am doing now to help authors and musicians create books and I would love to work with you!

If you'd rather take the lead, I am available to consult through the formatting and publishing process with you on an hourly basis.

1 - Sign contract via Docusign

2 - Collab post on social media with book cover (Can be album art if doing a book per album) Tag/mention Hawkeye each time books are referenced

3 - Upload art and text to Google Drive, indicating the desired order of files

4 - Approve draft or continue changes, finalize text and image placement, author bio, and book blurbs

5 - Obtain proof copy and finalize marketing plan

6 - Set up Amazon author bio page alongside final publication steps

7 - Publish! Party!

• Do I have to use my name?
  You can publish under your own name, or a nom de plume. Amazon allows multiple names for one author with no connection between the author profiles. I recommend searching the site to see if someone else is using the same spelling you plan to, as well as who your "search neighbors" might be.

• What about photographer's rights?
  I will help to obtain releases from the original professional photographers.

• How long does it take?
  I can format and upload a draft for your review within just a few weeks.

• Why are you doing this so inexpensively?
  I want to help musicians who might not otherwise have access to more costly merch options to extend their reach and catalog, AND I want to expand my badass network!

• What about services outside of Amazon?
  I can provide wider distribution if you are interested!
